    Default PC power requirements

Are there any tools that can tell you how much power a pc is using? I really dont want to go through the process of trying to lookup the power requirements on all these components. I currently have a power supply that works fine, but is too small for the case. And they say size doesn't matter!

You can use either Powertop (from intel, works best on laptops), or one of those meters that sit between your power socket and pc's plug.

Powertop is linux only though, and measures power usage at that time, so you may want to run some stresstesters to get your PC under full load.
