No partitions show up.

Hi, im trying to dual boot windows vista & B|T4, Everything loads correctly (BT4) until i try to install. I get as far as partitions and nothing shows up. (stage 4) I did take a screenshot, but i cant post it until i have 15 posts..

When i open the terminal and type mount. This is what comes up (if its any help):

Im running on a compaq C700 dual-core inside and i just upgraded my RAM (3.5GB)

I just tried fdisk /tmp and got this error:

last_lba(): I don't know how to handle files with mode 41777
You will not be able to write the partition table.

Hi, in your bios check what mode your hard drive is in, I remember a laptop I installed on and the drive wasn't visible in fdisk -l, in the BIOS I changed the hard drive setting to legacy or atapi mode and on restart was visible. Good luck.

Very nice option, or try and see for errors on you HDD, btw install vista and the pre final if you have problems :P
