How to make X screen resolution settings permanent?
I'm using Backtrack 4 final.
When I start X, the screen resolution defaults to 800x600. I can succesfully change it to 1024x768, but it just doesn't stick: if I log out and then start X again, it reverts to 800x600.
How can I save this setting?

Yes, i have same problem.....n i have pppoe net connection...after, when
i setting up, and make a restart, same settings lost too...IT'S VERY STRANGE!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T believe, that this (Backtrack 4) , such stupid!
somebody knows to help me, how can i fixed this problems??
