Linksys WUSB600N Wireless "Master" Mode not working

Hi Everyone,

I have a Linksys WUSB600N wireless card which is working fine with back track in order to sniff traffic etc on the wireless.

When using Airsnarf, I need to be able to put this card into Master mode as such

iwconfig ra0 mode Master
To be able to use this card and the backtrack installation as a wireless access point.
When I go to put the ra0 card into Master mode, it get the following error
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device ra0 ; Invalid argument.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

Try using:

ifconfig device down
iwconfig device mode master
ifconfig device up

With device being the device going to be used.

I tried the iwconfig etc and this did not work.

ANy more ideas?
