I'm new in this scene is it possible to retrieve an ESSID through BSSID? Please a command, I'm using backtrack 4 in combination with airmon, aircrack and airodump to get into wireless networks. Now this wireless point's ESSID is longer then 10 characters, so it doesn't display at airodump start, is it possible to retrieve the ESSID by BSSID, if so please some additional information.
