    Question Dell Wireless 1397 minicard

I just bought a Dell Inspiron 1750 with a Dell Wireless 1397 Minicard and I am asking myself if BT 4 (or3/2) works with the Dell Wireless 1397 Minicard.
If not, any tips for drivers?
    Ty in advance! 8D

Wrong area to post your question, should be in newbie section. Furthermore, you haven't provided enough information, such as lspci output as such.

I think its one of those broadcrap bcm4315 which means that you'll get very limited support if any.

No. There is very minimal support for this card. It is pretty useless when it comes to BT, or the various parts of the BT tool set, including Kismet. I haven't tried the Dell 5100 mini half card. I was hoping I could get my old Intel 3945 card into this Dell 1440, but there's no way to secure it down (Thanks Dell for a crappy design!).

I don't know of anyone else who makes these mini half pci cards besides Dell.

Invest in a good USB dongle.
