The Arch Linux link I posted referred to a 600E, and said that it doesn't support USB booting (as opposed to the others which referred to a 600). It is only a users comment, so its not definitive, but it does support rowebil's claim that his system doesn't boot from USB.Originally Posted by athacks

nah had my pal @ office max check it out, he said it could but with a mod something about a diferent bios, not the ones you can find at google, a more deep mod, like having some kinda patch before updating it, idk, but ok, lets leave it at it cant boot usb without mods :P
