    Question Deauth WPA Question

    Hi everybody

I have a problem with the client deauthentication for a WPA network, i have a ALPHA RTL8197 card and i can normally deauth all clients, but in this test when i try to deauth a client it remains connect to te AP and i can't get the handshake.

    i'm using the "aireplay-ng -0 1 -a <BSSID> -c <MAC Client> interface" command.

    why happen this ?

Thank you for your time and answers

    Temp Solution:

I increase the number of packets to send for deauth to 50 and was fine....

    aireplay-ng -0 50 -a <BSSID> -c <MAC Client> interface

How far away is the access point? What security do you have turned on on your router?
    Still not underestimating the power...

There is no such thing as bad information - There is truth in the data, so you sift it all, even the crap stuff.

Let me know which OS your client is running: Windows XP, Vista, Windows7 ?
