    Default Nic problems (linksys pcmlm56)

I've got a pcmlm56 multifunction pcmcia card (both 10/100 NIC and 56k modem in one card) that works beautifully out of the box on BT3. So far BT4pf doesn't like it.

dmesg on BT3 it shows up as a NE2000 nic and TTS1.
dmesg on BT4pf it only shows up as a pcmcia card being inserted/removed.

So far my google search has provided me with lots of data from 1998-2002 on linking it to the mod pcnet_cs which is already up and running on bt4pf.

A nudge or kick in the right direction would be appreciated before ndiswrapper shows up on a card I know works in bt3.

I'd probably do lspci -k on both bt3 and bt4pf.. you are probably missing kernel drivers and if that's the case, its just a matter of recompiling the kernel with those drivers.

Sorry for taking so long to reply (father had sudden open heart surgery and I've had to take up the slack) but No dice.

    Both lspci's the same.

    Next idea??

I meant pasting them here not comparing them yourself.
