Gawddam. I sincerely hope you're kidding. That movie is the WORST example of the 'hacker genre.' It had only two good points, and both on of those were on Angelina Jolie's chest.

I know it's not really accurate, but at the time I had no idea. I just thought it was cool so I started learning.

Well, I suppose anything that gets someone interested and learning a subject on their own can't be all bad, but that POS comes close to being one of the worst movies ever made.

If you want a movie that actually comes much closer to real life, watch Sneakers. Although artistic license is given to a number of things, the writers actually spent time with hackers, researched actual techniques, and then incorporated them into the script.
