Ok so my brain shut off for some reason and I can't think of a good way of searching the threads for this so I hope there isn't one already. But when you first fire up BT (i'm using BT4 PF) you are presented with a terminal I guess you can call it or console. You log in. Now I have seen in some past linux distros the ability to move a curser with a mouse and be able to highlight text. I was wondering how this is done. A friend told me you have to enable the mouse driver in console or something (cant remember it was a while ago he told me this) What I want to do is
1) Of course start Back|Track 4 Pre Final and log in
2)Setup wireless card
3)Run airodump-ngBT#ifconfig wlan0 down
BT#macchanger --mac AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF wlan0
BT#airmon-ng start wlan0
4)Run aireplay-ng to fake authBT#airodump-ng -c {Chan #} -w {output file} mon0
5)Gather IV's for WEP crackingBT#aireplay-ng -1 0 -a XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX -h AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF mon0
6)Run Cap files thru Aircrack-ngBT#aireplay-ng -3 -b XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX -h AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF mon0
Now I wanted to be able to do all of this without even starting X. I want to start airodump in the first console hit Alt+F2 and run Aireplay and then run Aircrack in Alt+F3 However I don't want to type out the MAC each time. So i was wondering if there was a way to load the mouse driver so I can highlight/copy & paste the MAC address from Console 1 into my Aireplay in Console 2 and aircrack in console 3?BT#aircrack-ng --bssid XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX *.cap > Cracked_WEP.txt
I hope i'm making sense. I'm not sure lol. Thanks in advance

Possibly, but probably not based on your description. Google the words mouse and linux and console together. Nothing personal, but this is really rank amateur, beginner Linux info. It's doubtful you're ready for pentestng, never mind BT, until you get up to speed on the basics.
