Can't you just use USB or SD installation? They're portable, safe & as effective as the HDD installation. And, if you screw up, it won't cost you much.![]()
I just bought a new laptop just an hour ago and now I'm setting up bt4. I'm on the setup step where you resize your disk by partitioning it. However on the video it says you make it to 7 GB Ubuntu, and 8 GB Vista. I have a 285GB combined vista and Ubuntu and I'm not sure what porportion I should do. On the video it was 53% to 47% Vista Ubuntu respectively, do I do the same? That'd make my new partition size 152.8GB Vista and 133 GB Ubuntu.
I'm sorry if this is such a bad question, I just don't want to screw things up.
Thanks so much for your help.
Scott
