I am also getting this error. I have a 16gb flash drive, with a 10gb FAT32 partition labeled "Drakonas" and a 6gb ext3 partition labeled "casper-rw" for persistent.

Note: lilo or grub did not even load. After selecting the device from the bios, it booted directly into backtrack, and gave this error, leaving me with a (initramfs) prompt.

    Any help?

I'm beginning to think this has to do with the sizes of your partitions you choose. I also followed the unetbootin guide. idk, but it's an idea...

My ext3 partition is 6gb. I'm beginning to think that's not big enough.

Why does the freakin Guided disk n00b tutorial take up like 5gb of space on my usb drive, when the dvd is only 1.3gb? I have no idea how that works...unless there are files filled with null data, which would make no sense to have.

    Nope that's not it either.
What tutorial are you following anyway ?
