installation on GPT disk (GUID) fails (BT4 pre final)
I just want to notify that installation via ubiquity on a GUID Partition Table disk (GPT) was not possible: ubiquity didn't recognize my partitioning (partition 1 EFI, partition 2 HFS+, partition 3 ext3) and proposed me to reformat the whole disk.
This prevents people to install backtrack 4 on Macs or hackintosh.
It could be probably solved by using gptsync utility: I read that ubuntu uses it to sync GPT table with MBR, but I'm not very familiar with this procedure.... did anyone ever tried this (bt4 installation on GPT disk) and is willing to provide hints to me/the community?
thanks,
