    Default Atheros AR5009 802.11a/g/n WiFi Adapter help

    hey guys well ive been looking and trying to get my wireless card i cant seem to find anything about it on google i can only find about 5007ar can anyone help me set it up on bt4 because ive tried to use vm and tried to boot from it but when i boot up the wireless button just goes orange and in windows its working fine i tried updating my drivers and it did but noting happened i also copied the drivers in my usb and installed them on backtrack 4 my question is basically how can i get my card to be seen thanks in advance all help is greatly appreciated

    So you are using BT inside a VM?

    If so you should do some research. It is known that only usb wireless adapters will work inside a VM.

    ive tried live cd and still dont get anything the wireless icon stays off and when i go to wireless manager it say no wireless components found
