hi i been trying to connect to internet with wicd the first time when i install bt4 pre final i could but now i can not. I even try to use manual but no chance i been searching on google for few days now but nothing , i use windows 7 can connect to internet very easy also i use live cd ubuntu9.04 easy connect, i tried wicd on ubuntu 9.04 wasn't able to connect to internet but with gnome network manager easy to connect, is there anyway that i could install gnome network manager without internet connection on backtrack4

Virchanza, you should really update that page to show more on wpa_supplicant as well now, doubt that many people are going to have WEP these days !
I happen to agree with him (hating wpa_supplicant as I do), let someone else talk about it, WEP is easy to test and a good example of command line usage.(If you want to connect to WPA, find out about "wpa_supplicant", it won't be discussed here)
