Question BT4 pf installed to LVM?

Hey guys, I am fairly new to bt4 and slightly seasoned to linux. My OS of choice is ubuntu which was great when i found bt4.

My question is can I install bt4 into some existing (or even new) Logical Volumes. I was running bt4 off a USB flash and would like to pick up the read/write speed but don't want to sacrifice my host OS and it's partitions and LVMs.

Is there a way to install bt4 from a shell in another OS? Is there an Alternate install cd which allows the installer to access or create LVMs?

I am looking forward to wirelessly beating the crap out of my lynksys wrt-54G, Seeing how good IPCop really is and exploring wifi, LAN and combined networks.

Yes you can install it into an existing LVM and you can also create other LVMs.

The best installer for that is the command line. Everything is possible from inside it.
