Failure to do so will probably get your threads deleted or worse.
I've been struggling with this for the last hour or so... I've installed the 2.6.30.5 updates to both kernel and kernel sources, and now the "/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup" command fails. I've also tried reinstalling from scratch, per these instructions, to no avail.
I'll keep wrestling with it...
Wrestling has turned up nothing of any use, as yet. I've now, after much mess, reverted to 2.6.29 (kernel, source, & headers), and cannot STILL get my vboxdrv setup to succeed, although the errors are a bit different. Anybody have any hints? I'm lost...
