    Problem installing k3b,

    apt-get install k3b

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
    requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
    distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
    or been moved out of Incoming.

    Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
    the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
    that package should be filed.
    The following information may help to resolve the situation:

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    k3b: Depends: kdelibs-data (>= 4:3.1.4-2)
    E: Broken packages

    Same thing with aptitude, i try to force install too. Fix broken packeges, synaptic, dpkg --configure -a etc. but no good.
    ?

    Ok, solution is to install k3b-kde3 ,then dvd+rw-tools for burning dvds.

    If you would have read the bt4-prefinal documentation you would have known that. We covered the kde thing well before the release.
