which laptop has the best built in wifi for BT4? I know I'll never find one with a built in 500mw alfa but you get the idea-best snsitivity, best drivers, etc.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

You could always replace the card, unless you go for a HP that is.

imo best internal wifi would be atheros, works straight out of the box. If you want to buy a new laptop then you should buy one that you like visually and which has good specifications... don't focus on wireless card, you can always change it, it's even very cheap on eBay, costs about 10$
I can recommend Atheros AR5007EG (chip: AR5BXB63 or AR2423) MiniPCI-e![]()
Atheros based cards are always the best I've ever tried, you could check IBM laptop if you're looking for performance and stability.
The Atheros card in the Asus 1000HA works perfectly.
