USB moden internet source problem

I use USB modem as internet source in my windows XP, can I use same source internet in BT4 ,if yes ,how can I do that.
Note: I use BT4 in VMware .

which type of usb modem you are using, you should find a linux driver for it if it's not supported by bT by default
