    Default user folders no longer having the desktop mapped to the ~/Desktop/ folder

    I was wondering how to make kde map the visible desktop to the Desktop folder in the user dir. It was rather useful to be able to keep stuff in the user directory, like nice neat organized subdirs that didnt cover my desktop. Any ideas?

    You can easily change it via System Settings -> Paths
