    Default help booting BT4 live cd

    hi , i use a 2 different laptops (acer aspire 5515) (hp pavilion dvr600) (internal dvd) to boot the last version of backtrack 4 (no pre beta) and i can't to enter to the OS i choose the first option in the menu

    start backtrack framebuffer (1024x7680)

    and the OS is booting but later appear this and i can't do nothing

    i choose the option

    START PERSISTENT LIVE CD

    and the same problem appear

    how to enter to use the OS in live cd ?? need login and pass ? if i needed how i can enter the login and pass ?

    What's the problem? You have a perfectly fine root shell on both pictures you uploaded. I assume you wonder where the XServer is actually. Backtrack boots into Console-mode by default. To start KDE type "startx"
