    Default Remote Desktop

    Hi,
    I would like to remote control through LAN cable, so I don't need encryption or any security. I just need to see and use remote desktop
    Can you suggest me a software?

    I'm gonna use vnc, I think is the most popular and I can control pc from other OS when it's necessary because is plenty of client for VNC
    anyway, now I've a problem using vnc4server or vncserver:
    server can't run because of libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is missing

    Is there any "libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so" on the system? If so you can try just symlinking to it with the appropriate name .
    I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

    I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

    library libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 was missing and it wasn't easy to find it
    I've installed it from libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2_2.95.4-27_i386.deb
    but problems are not finished....
    now there is a fatal server error
    Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb'
