i did the same thing everytime, even labeling the ext3 partition casper-rw every single time and i always got the initramfs prompt

this is the only way i could get it to work

i've been messing with this for 2 days and only after making both partitions the same size did it finally work.

There could be something wrongs in Extracting and Copying process while you run UNetBootin. I had the same problem, then I recognized that the size of the extracted files in the usb was not nearly the same as the original iso file.

You should try to run UNetBootin again after format the usb to FAT32

I also had the "initramfs" prompt problem but after about six attempts, a USB Live install finally worked!

I can't explain why but I did a lot of validation on my last attempt : confirmed partition with GParted, confirmed rsync with md5sum, etc...

If I ever find out what was the cause, I'll let you know!
