I just downloaded the Pre final, and booted it with a Dell Latitude D830.
I am not sure what to expect, but the menu bar that moves when you use an arrow key is not visible at all. It seems to be like black on black. I can only tell what I am selecting but counting the keypresses.

When the DVD finished booting, I have a terminal screen surrounded what looks like a nice kde, or gnome desktop perhaps?
No menu items, External keyboard, mouse, and also the laptop mouse do not work. Laptop keypad works perfect.

Again, I am not complaining, I don't know if this is by design, or is possibly a hardware issue. I read where the authors ask for our feedback, so here it is.

Thanks for the fine work. I found this while searching for other forensics tools than Helix.
