    Default Asus Eee PC 900HA

    Working:

Asus Eee PC 900HA w/Atheros Gigabit/Fast Ethernet Controller. Everything works out of the box without any moding. Did install and rebooted. All Hardware works including wireless, ran injection without problem.

    Errors:

During install I get no language could be selected and moves on to keyboard settings.

After install and reboot I keep getting this error:

modprobe: Fatal: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.29.4/modules.dep: no such file or directory

I did reinstall just to make sure. Still same error.

I got the eeepc 901 and BT4 pre final is working very well.
During startup I get the same

    Code:
modprobe: Fatal: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.29.4/modules.dep: no such file or directory
error, but it appears also on my Desktop PC and my Thinkpad.
However, after the error the boot procedure continues and after a few seconds
the system is up and running stable for me

same error message on one of my desktops (vaio). my eeepc 1000HE boots cleanly and without displaying this error msg. perhaps this issue should be raised/resolved in a seperate non hw/system specific thread? as reported previously, the system boots past the error and remains stable/usable.

Im running my 701 4G with BT4 too, and installed it to 16Gb SDHC card. Everything works perfectly!

Just wish the injection would work with the 901/1000 integrated WLAN cards, I have 901 too. Im thinking of changing the WLAN card from 701 to 901 (bigger screen would be nice for BT4), should be pretty easy operation I hope. Or buy Acer Aspire One and use it only for BT4...

Yeah I get the same modprobe FATIL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.29.4/modules.dep no such file or directory

I'm using an Aser Aspire one.

It's weird cause the file is there.

What's weird is that you made a thread on this and you posted here the same thing. Not to mention there is already a thread on the problem.
