    Default Screen Resolution - howto ?

    Has BT-3 hdd installed and ajusted screen resoulution from terrible 2048x1536 (by default) to the accepted 1024x768 All working w/o problems !
    Now downloaded BT-4 pre-final and hdd installed - terrible 2048 againe !
    By Menue I ajusted it down to 1024x768 -OK but after Reboot no X-server !
    It says (no screens are foung in xorg file .....) How to revive my hdd BT-4 into graphic mode ? What command I must use in TEXT mode to run X-server or to ajust it properly......now I am only in Safe Mode - console type.
    It shows - Ubuntu 8.10 by the way - on hdd.

    Try this.

    dexconf
    It should reset your xorg.conf and then you can...
