Question [Problem] VMware tools install Guest OS on Vmware Fusion

Hi all i have been looking for a solution to my problem and have already searched the forum and have come up with nothing. I have followed the instructions to install vmware tools on vmware workstation but, i am using vmware fusion to install vmware tools on backtrack 4 pre-final and i am getting the errors im getting because i have VMwareTools-7.9.3-159196 that is the default install file. SO if anyone has a workaround or knows where i can download this file please let me know.

    Thanks

Ok well i have done a little digging and as of right now there is no patch for linux kernel 2.6.29. The closest guide i found was on VMware Communities: How to install Debian 5.0.1 in VMware Fusion 2.0.4 - Step by Step. Google it i can't post a link but it uses the debain 5.0.1 kernel uses 2.6.26 so any ideas?
