Very Simple Request For Help...

Hey guys,

I'm using Backtrack 4 and I just wanted to know, how do we get the desktop where we can manually open a shell and everything?

From the main menu, I have several Backtrack options and I don't know which one to choose.
Everytime I choose one, it never brings me to the desktop that Backtrack 3 brings me to all the time.

I would like to have the desktop feature where I can open up multiple Shells manually.
