download a program in your windows called UNetbootin.
It does it for you and is easy to use.
This software is already in the new bt4pre as well.

I have a 4gb pen drive.
Should I format the pendrive first with gparted and make two partitions?
1gb / 3gb
FAT32 / ext3
Will unetbootin be able to use both partitions OK yo install the OS?

Mh, just need help with instalation via usb...
I made usb bootable bt4 with UNetbootin, when im in first screen it says what i want graphic mode, text and so on, but how i can install bt4 after that with that usb version...

Same way you'd install it with a real dvd. Click on the install.sh icon on the desktop.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
Hey if you go to the Offensive sit they have a how to video on how to install bt4 pre final on a usb. "up and running with backtrack"
Problem is cant execute this script or whatever... i try it now by myself
OK but will I INSTALL BT4 or it'll run as LIVE-USB?? I want to INSTALL not to strat LIVE USB.
