Wireless card n airmon-ng
Im a newbie to all this .. I got VMware back track 4 done .. and wen i run from VMware i can access internet and all that but when i type airmon-ng ... i cant find any interfaces or anything all are blank... should i get a external USB wireless card ? i have INTEL pro/ wireless 3954BG card !
please i want step by step instructions...

VMware does not recognize wireless cards (as wireless cards). VMware uses the host systems internet connection whether its wired or wireless and creates a virtual wired connection. to my knowledge only USB wireless cna be recognized as wireless in VMware. get a usb wireless and search this site for insturctions... or use google.
