That means that you are too lazy to use google.
It is a VMWare related error and as archangel.amael mentioned that your machine is named BT2, I suppose that you've used BT2 before and wanted to upgrade?
Whatever, the first result while googling for the errormessage returned this.

My bad. The BT2 was a typo when I typed the name. It was supposed to be 4. And no, I'm not to lazy to google, I busted my balls trying to find an answer, but no one knew one on any other forums knew ) : I do have the BT4 ISO file, and it is definitely a VMware related error. I also saw that link and it didn't work for me D : I'm dying over here! Anyone got a suggestion/solution? I really do appreciate the help. I'm still trying to figure it out.
Reinstall VMWare or convert the image to a Virtualbox one.

Try reading more at the vmware forums for info.
The link works just fine.I also saw that link and it didn't work for me
If there is a reason you can not make it work then search your error message in google and or vwmare's websites.
communities.vwmare.com/thread/183906 is the address referenced above.
I would give that a shot and see what happens.

Provide more info about your internet problem and maybe we can help you.
BTW and I quote "I also saw that link and it didn't work for me" that is what you posted earlier, and as such I did not misunderstand you. Now you may not be a native English speaker, but that is ok. It in the above sentence would generally refer to the subject of said sentence. As such the subject was the link.
Cheers.

Relax man. English is my first and only language, I was just distracted at the time of typing, and I was also having a hard time phrasing what I was thinking. When I said I saw the link, I meant that I had viewed the content of the link, not that the link itself did not work. I'm really trying to avoid petty arguments for the sake of getting this problem solved, since it's the best place to get answers about Backtrack. What details about my internet connection should I provide to better assist?
The problem with the Internet as it is is that when I try to open firefox in backtrack 4, the browser says it cannot establish an internet connection. I'm trying to figure out why it's saying that, and more importantly, how do I fix this? If someone can help me out here, I thank you ahead of time, and again later :D
