Hey cust0m, did you have any issues with your trackpad and the 1008HA? Just looking at buying one, and I've noticed a few people seem to have some somewhat random problems with their trackpads on eee's.

no i didn't have any issues, everythings working quite well. just some issues with the ath9k and monitor mode, which seems to be unnecessary anyways

I have a 1008HA and I can't seem to get BT3 to boot up at all(on SD but it works on and HP laptop great), and BT4 (on USB) gets to the desktop but my mouse doesn't work, i have to plug in a USB mouse, witch takes up 1 of the USB ports and plus i can't always use an external mouse... How are you getting your BT4 to work?

To solve the BT3 error: AddScreen/screenlit failed for driver 0

1.- You must download this file 901_net_gfx.lzm
Can find it in this link "[rapidshare.com/files/138927294/901_net_gfx.lzm.html]"
And then copy it in the follow usb’s directory:
BT3\optional
2.- You must modify the file “syslinux.cfg” which is in the boot directory of the usb.
Using a text editor, between the other boot options, write this:
LABEL eee
MENU LABEL BT3 EEE PC
KERNEL /boot/vmlinuz
APPEND vga=785 initrd=/boot/initrd.gz ramdisk_size=6666 root=/dev/ram0 rw load=901_net_gfx

And that’s all.
