Acer Aspire 3000 compatibilty issue
I tried to run the live cd on a Acer Aspire 3000 laptop and when it checked for hardware it brings an unexpected halt message, continued to boot, i logged in normally but when i tried to start KDE it shows a blank screen and reboots after some seconds...
Can you post more info on what this "unexpected halt message" is?
Also once it boots up but before you start kde you should probably configure the xserver
