I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

Yeah, it's all your fault, you canandians and commas.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

In ten years, people read this thread and say "Only 12k TB? What was the big deal? My Dell HAL III has 40k TB of space and it's a year old."

At which point some Apple fanboy will pipe up with "The Kumquat 5000 has 50k TB and is sooooo much easier to use! PC's suck even if you still have 90% of the market!"

Some things will have changed a lot, and others won't have changed a bit.

640K should be enough for anyone.

@ OP, get cruch to make a wordlist of three char length(a-z..etc * 3), and then append to each line the rest of the password. I think sed could do the appending.

Are you talking about 3* 64, or are you talking about 12 * 64 /2, if the first give me 1 min and it will be done(which is what you are meaning?), otherwise take what thorn said and divide by two.
