    Cool Need Nvidia driver

    hello
    iam using vmware 6.5.1 and BT4

    now i want to install my card driver which is

    Nvidia 8600m GT

    need the full steps+links

    Its written on the nvidia page ... and honestly its easier than it is on windows.

    Q: why the hell you need to install the nvidia card when you're in VMWare? Am I missing anything out?

    Xorred is exactly right. The nvidia drivers in vmware will do you no good as the virtual machine is not able to access the /dev/nvidia device.

    i need to install nvidia driver to be able to use CUDA technology system

    whn iam trying to install the drive in vmware i face the msg "before start"

    so am i need to install the BT4 to my harddisk first and then install the CUDA driver ??

    You CAN NOT use CUDA in Vmware.
