    Default usb version transform to CD image

    is it possible to transform usb version that i have on friends usb stick and to burn to cd and make bootable Live CD

    Description: USB Version (Extended)
    Name:: bt3final_usb.iso

    to this


    Description: CD Image
    Name:: bt3-final.iso

    It should work so long as the md5sum is the same after burning and it is under 700mb's As it were the two versions are different. One has more packages than the other. But what is included on the usb version is not really essential to the operation.
    It might be easier for you to download and burn your own copy of the cd version.

    ok i have downloaded and burn with powerIso to CD-R
    and when i am at startup booting i select
    first bt3 linux (kde)
    and it goes two lines and then just get black screen

    Well did you verify the md5sum ?
    Did you configure the x server ?
    xorg and your monitor info in google.
    Also try the other methods for booting that are available.
    Also you now need to start searching the forums here.

    on my laptop works but on PC dont. i will find the answer thx and LOCK TOPIC
