i have the same problem. its pretty annoying, im fairly new to linux and i hate how such a small setback is holding me from network domination. can a knowledgeable user please help us out?

konsole in BackTrack 3 (usb) doesn't work
backtrack3 starts from my usb-stick on my dell laptop.
when i want to start the konsole it semms like the konsole gets stuck. the size notification doesn't dissapear and i can't type in it.
since it's only my second time i try to use a knoppix i'd be very happy with some advise as were to look for an explanation for the problem.
