    Default Black screen of death? on live cd

    Hello,

    I have a HP Pavillion dv6700 notebook(with Nvidia geforce 7150 / nforce 630)
    today i tryed booting bt3 (the live cd) and i got to the boot menu and booted graphics mode (kde) and bam black screen of death nothing at all.

    anything??

    Use the vesa mode.
    Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
