    Default Saving ethernet static configuration

Ok first i REALLY tried not to waste your time i searched for hours saw different shits but non of them worked.
    Here is the problem:
I set up my internet like so ...
    bt ~ # ifconfig xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask 255.255.255.0 up
bt ~ # route add default gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
    bt ~ # echo nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > /etc/resolv.conf nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx >> /etc/resolv.conf
    My ip Address is static!

And it works like a charm until reboot. I just want to make these changes persistent, I am using BT4 Beta installed on my HDD. Please someone write a how to for it

    Yeah you searched real hard.
No we will not write you a tutorial on the basics of networking or using BT since they are both considered prerequisites to using the distro.
See also here for tutorials that are already done.

Really? Stange. I typed in the words "static ip" in the search function, and on the first
page came across the thread "how to configure static ip that sticks permanently" Specifically THIS post describes how to permanently set your network information.

Maybe your search button is broke?
