    Default AR242x wireless not working

This card works in Ubuntu 9.04 and 8.10 out of the box. ifconfig shows only eth0 and lo, no configured wireless.

    lspci:

    Code:
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
    /etc/init.d/networking start:

    Code:
wifi0: unknown hardware address type 801
wifi0: unknown hardware address type 801
    Listening on LPF/eth0/00:1f:16:5f:f0:16
    Sending on LPF/eth0/00:1f:16:5f:f0:16
    Sending on Socket/fallback
    lsmod:

    Code:
    ath5k 102528 0
If there's any other information that would be useful, let me know.

Edit: Ignore. Apparently NetworkManager isn't started automatically for runlevel 5. Perhaps it should be?

    /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
