    Default .Cap File Help

    Hi Guys, I use a SMCUSB-G 802.11g Usb Wireless adaper..and i have bt3 on a cd..also im uusing a compaq desktop if you needed that info.okay everything works fine i find my Ap and all that good stuff but when its time to for this command "aircrack-ng -n 64 -b BSSID yourfilename-01.cap" i press enter then all of a sudden Backtrack Restarts and im back at desktop screen..im kind of a noob at this but i got everything working fine until to actually get the wep key..please someone help me

    Code:
    aircrack-ng -n 64 -b BSSID yourfilename*.cap

    Not exactly. You used:
    yourfilename-01.cap

    I recommended:
    yourfilename*.cap

    ummm.... I would first try to update aircrack-ng to the latest one:
    http://download.aircrack-ng.org/airc...1.0-rc3.tar.gz

    If it solves the problem, fine, otherwise go for the latest kernel. Good luck

    hmmm.... i thought it was -w u have to use before r filename.cap to obviously write to file dont suppose that would help just a thought :P
    or well download latest kernel im using backtrack 3 atm and im finding all my wifi adapters working now both with monitoring and injection
