Linksys WUSB600N driver not working :X
WUSB600N (rt2870) not showing up in BT4 Beta or BT3. Has worked for others :X
I've tried installing the latest Apocolipse/Ralink drivers. I've followed every guide on this forum for the WUSB600N. I've tried running BT4 and 3 in Boot CD, USB and VMWare. All no luck with the same results.
I get the following code:
root@bt: # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0e0f:0002 WMware, Inc. Virtual USB Hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1737:0071 Linksys <-- this is the wusb600n
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Then I do a make && make install on one of the drivers and do modprobe rt2870sta. No errors.
root@bt: # iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions
airmon-ng doesn't show anything either.
Any suggestions? I'm also on my second wusb600n so it isn't be a hardware issue. I've also had BT4 up and cracking wep with a different model USB stick so "technically" it should be working. :P
Thanks!

Wusb600n
got the same problem also, i think its a kernel issue. i tested this on bt3 final and bt4 pre-final, no luck. i did everything perfectly also. the make && make install and untaring and all that stuff. crap....
.. however wifislax is a different story with airoscript, now that works dandy.

I have the same problem.
It seems that we have to recompile the kernel but i'm not able to do it.
sigh
