Thread: Ettercap & SslStrip (Attacking the Masses)

    I've been using ettercap and followed this tutorial to the "T" - But still only some sites get sniffed. I'm using a virtual machine as a target and ettercap will sniff yahoo, facebook, etc. But it won't show normal http traffic, and it won't show aol's https login for some reason. I thought the ssl strip running in the background would make it so http traffic would be shown. I only get logins and certain ones at that - and those require the target/client to approve certificates...

    Look man I know you are all about learning the ettercap but you got about 4 or 5 posts going on the subject, that are looking for help or guidance. I laud you for your efforts to learn but more will come from reading guides and tutorials on the subject than posting. Take your time and get into some research and it will come to you.
