hi
i was often wondering, why some APs logged with kismet gps are so imprecise in the position on the map.
I now figured that the GPS is delayed about 10 seconds.
Any idea what could be the reason for that and how to fix that?
here is how i start my bluetooth gps on bt4b:
-----
hciconfig hci0 up
hciconfig cc 00:xx:.....
rfcomm connect /dev/rfcomm0 00:xx:.....
gpsd /dev/rfcomm0
-----
Any suggestions ppl?
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
I got almost none delay on my PDA with the same bluetooth GPS (max. 2sec)
