Installing BT3 USB under OS X
I'm trying to install the BT3 USB version from a laptop running OS X 10.5. When I run the 'bootinst.sh' script, all it gives me is the following:
egrep: /proc/mount: No such file or directory
egrep: /proc/mount: No such file or directory
egrep: /proc/mount: No such file or directory
Can't find device to install to.
Make sure you run this script from a mounted device.
Which makes sense, since there is no /proc dir on OS X. My USB drive is mounted under /Volumes/BT3, so I did a little creative editing of the install script to reflect that. Now it gives me this error:
./boot/syslinux/syslinux: ./boot/syslinux/syslinux: cannot execute binary file
I tried as root and got the same message. So, can anyone tell me how to do this?
Cheers
