I use this book in a TCP/IP Fundamentals course. It comes with a CD with a bunch of packet captures to use in Wireshark. Pretty decent. Although, it is not free.

well, the first one is almost 1000+ pages?I'd print it, if it was at all possible to read on printed paper.. I'd buy it, but they're not selling it! And reading 1000+ pages on the screen, can damage one's eyes, probably..
