Can 2 Hosts Behind NAT Speak With Each other?
I'm sitting here in a CCNA class and the teacher is claiming that 2 pcs behind 2 networks can speak with each other without port forwarding. Would someone please explain how this is possible. I always thought that it was impossible without any port forwarding setup and no man in the middle to connect the two sessions.

You say you have machine A behind a router A and a machine B behind router B. Both routers are doing NAT.
It could be possible by putting the machines into a DMZ or using static NAT.

Okay exactly what I thought and said.
After lunch break she finally agreed with me after understanding what I meant.
