Keyboard notworking / Unable to login
Hey guys,
I've double checked the MD5 Hash, reburnt the dvd at 1x using imgburn among other things, but i still continue to have this problem.
The live cd boots up fine, (keyboard works at the livecd boot menu), however once im at the bt4 login with the blinking caret nothing happens if i type anything, i've tried logging in as root, tried startx , but it doesn't take any input at all, as if theres no keyboard.
I'm running this on a BENQ S42 laptop.
Cheers

this is unresolved...
one of the users stated "after login" (Meaning they have got the command line up)
and the other said, no input at all... meanin not even "root" presumably
this is proably a driver fault... I would try turing on "USB legacy keyboard support" from the BIOS, it is usually held somewhere in the ROOT > Motherboard Features > accessabilty (somewhere)
& bios' differ
I'm sorry you guys have this problem, but adding that support in the bios level should solve it anyway... if not... come back... we'll think of something else

legacy usb support is already enabled in bios.
Also its not a problem of not being able to see my input, (the caret is there and blinking tho), its that it dosent register any input at all, i've tried putting in the passwords and logging in, tried startx etc...
Unfortunately, i don't have a spare usb keyboard to try using, atm i've only been using the inbuilt keyboard.
The keyboard works at the linux live cd boot options screen, is there anything i can put in the boot options there to try and get it to automatically login and startx?
